P50B Guide Sleeve Upgrade

Makes your P50 even BETTER!This improvement was initiated by a customer of ours in another form.He had broken several of the old style sleeves and gotten a few stuck in the bore, bent the lead wire, etc. So he rigged up a steel pipe and a tennis ball and used his P50 that way. We modified the pipe and ball to a very simple and usable form. This procedure is a really easy way to quickly use the P50 without worry of denting the horn from inside out. The bell spacers pictured above are included with this upgrade. NOTE: If their isn't proper clearance for the brass retriever nut, the wire will backjamb. Be sure there is at least room for the brass retriever net to get through. We have found that many repair techs were, in fact, hammering the P50 into the horn to push the ball around the bow to force the dent out. Regular emphasis with your 'ramrod' action should be sufficient, coupled with the inertia of the tool weight, to remove the dent even on a thicker or harder bell.
