Denver, CO 2002
The following are photos and descriptions from the Denver
on
December 7.
This fourth journey took me 1225 miles to near the "Mile-High" city at the base of the
mountains in Thornton, CO and to
the Music & Arts Center there. The clinic was hosted by Greg and Tessa Meis at that local facility.
Of course, Bob Frushour was there from Frederick, MD as M&A's Repair
Supervisor and as a clinician as well. Quite well known Larry Naylor, Del Kapitan and Tom
Bibbey were there along with 15 other information hungry repairmen.
Greg and Tessa Meis have a
very nice shop.

Bob Frushour installed synthetic pads. Greg
showed a few of his favorite tools.

Some of the group inspecting the results. Bob explains
about heat and synthetics.

Longtime repairman Dick Meis (retired) Lyle Williamson of Valley Center, KS
and
and JJ, both of Music & Arts locally.
Larry Naylor of Naylor's Custom Woodwinds.

Nancy Wagoner of Flesher-Hinton Music Matt Drase also of The Repair Shop
with
in Westminister, CO with Del Kapitan,
Anna Travis of Travis Band Repair in
who was just in Olathe, Kansas and Jana Boulder, CO and Tom Bibbey,
Thomas, of The Repair Shop in Ft. Collins. from Powell,
WY.
There were six states represented, including New Mexico, Wyoming and Kansas. It isn't too surprising
how far a body will go to find the answers to pressing questions from a compatriot.
Phone numbers were exchanged and they will be talking.
