Frankfurt Messe '05
The following are photos and descriptions from the International Frankfurter Musik Messe
in Frankfurt, Germany held April 6th thru April 9th, 2005.

This year Pat Hiatt and Rich Ervin, both of McCutcheon Music in Centerville, Ohio assisted us.

Here Curtis shows Pat the fitment. Rich and Curtis align one of the panels.

Rich holds while Pat installs fasteners.
Pat does final alignment, Curtis assists.

All three worked well together.
Tools don't cost you money, they bring it!

Pat and Rich with Phillip Herman of Spain. Well ID'd, we weren't
going to get lost.

Leaving on a field trip to DoDDS. The
cheap Gas is about $1.50 per QUART!
We were exceptionally busy this year. No one left the booth, except for 1
or 2 Very short 'necessary' trips. As you can see, we didn't even have time to take pictures,
like we have in the past. We will try and do better next year. But, I thought you'd like to see
some of what has to go into putting on a show like this. Over 92,700
people attended the 4 day event, a new record, by about another thousand.
Also, a new record of 2,350 companies from 53 countries on the exhibitor side.
Pat and Rich were super. Pat was a Ferree Repair School student back in
1967, he is now 78. Rich is just a kid of 55, but he is also a very
qualified Luthier and a published Violin Maker. He learned guitar making
from Peter Horn and was stationed in Germany for 3 years, courtesy of the U.S. Army.
