Improved G44 Screw/Rod Slotter

The G-44 screw slot sawing tool now has TEN holes instead of Five for a better fit to support the drill rod

when slotting the end of your stack and hinge screws.

Since 1957 when the G-44 first came out five holes where enough to cover the different drill rod sizes.

Today with all the drill rod that is offered we see the need to have more holes which makes it easier to center the slot your cutting,

along with the larger diameter fine tooth blade this job has become much easier to do.

Sorry we can not covert your old G-44 Five Hole to a ten hole for the cost of buying a new one.

The Hole Sizes are as follows:

.081 (2.05mm)      .111 (2.82mm)

.086 (2.18mm)      .116 (2.95mm)

.093 (2.36mm)      .120 (3.05mm)

.098 (2.49mm)      .125 (3.17mm)

.104 (2.64mm)      .128 (3.25mm)

New oversized 1" blade makes this tool even easier to use than before.  Bonus is that the replacement blades are about half the cost of the $14.50  3/4" ones in the past.  Additionally they have finer teeth for a smooth precision cut.  The best part is, that if you have had one for a while, you can have it updated (G44U) for just $25.00, including a new blade.  New G44B Blades are only $9.50.  We still have the older G44A blades in stock but, we highly recommend this update, as a splendid improvement.  Note: About .040" or 1mm is a good depth for the slot.

The G44 is an efficient $59.50
