Daryle Vinson of Amro Music's Band Repair Service in Memphis, Tenn.
Amro has an old strege/wuttke dent machine.  Their shop manager, Cliff, called to see if we could get our great Power Disc's to work on it.  Coincidentally, we had been working on this project already, via an old allied machine we had acquired.  The two machines are very similar, with the s/w being, kind of a later version.  The s/w has 2 mechanical improvements, to help make it more controllable, like the trailer hitch head connection, instead of just a bolt, and a keyed leg on the base arm.
Cliff sent me some 11x14 photos showing the machine they had and we built the necessary components to compensate for the differences between the two.  Then, Daryle called to come to the dent machine seminars Gary was putting on.  After two days, he got completely outfitted with all the things he needed to do Sousas and Tubas, as well as all the smaller brass along with a few of the newer hand tools that were also demonstrated.  Daryle used all the accessories, some on one of our machines and some on the one similar to his for proper set-up and execution.  All the little tricks were revealed.  By the way, the hand tools were the N87A Trombone Pliers, and P53 Trombone slide dent ball driver-retriever.
We now have adapters for the discontinued allied, strege/wuttke and old bullock, novus, national, Texas type machines to improve their results.  You could say that,  WE ARE--

       BRINGING UP THE PAST

WE DESIGNED THESE ADAPTERS TO UPDATE THE OLD ALLIED AND STREGE/WUTTKE DENT MACHINES, to help YOU use them with our SUPER NEW POWER DISCS AND ROLLERS AND THE ADJUSTABLE TUBA ARM AND SOUSA RODS from the Z60/61/61E.
You can BRING THESE OBSOLETE AND DISCONTINUED MODELS INTO THE 21rst CENTURY.  It takes a little over $1,100.00 for the adapters to bring those old discontinued machines up to where they can accept this new tooling.  But then, you will have a machine that will do about 80% of what a New Z60 or Z61/61E can do.  This will save you money;  you will then have all the modern tooling and if someday you acquire a Z60/61/61E, all your specialized accessory tooling will fit it.  Saving you even more, because you won't have to replace it all over, again.  There will still be some jobs these old machines won't do, but they will be able to do about 60 to 70%
more than they can do now.
The prices for the updates are below, with pictures and options.  The Ferree's options (Power Discs, etc.) must be purchased separately.

Listed below are pictures and descriptions of the various adapters and their functions with the two machines.  In some cases you have a choice of which way you want to proceed.  If you have any questions:  Call our Instruction Line at (616) 965-0511 and Gary, Steve or Curtis can help you.

Now you can do work, faster, easier, better
and more profitably with your old discontinued machine.

SPECIAL NOTE: The old  National, Novus or Bullock, Texas-style machines suffered this same problem, which we corrected about two years ago when we made a special rod for several repairmen so they could utilize Ferree's all New Power Discs and rollers with their old style machines.
