A trip to Selmer '03
Home Up

Henri Selmer Paris, a nice visit

Curtis and I thought we would visit the Selmer Company.

We arrived in Paris from Frankfurt in 7 hours.  I noticed this freight car and thought I was home.
(Cereals, Kellogg's, Post, Nabisco, Ralston-Purina, Battle Creek, Cereal City, Get it?)

Across the street a restaurant pronounced Du Wah!  Curtis (center) by the door.

The sign in the window goes with the logo above.  A beautiful circular stair enters.

Even Selmer gets mangled gems to fix; Curtis with a really tall Tuba in the shop.

A secret Selmer experimental instrument; probably, why they don't allow cameras.

The folks at Selmer were very nice, even if we couldn't talk with them.
