Some time ago, Ferree's Tools was able to acquire a quantity of
good used torches
to save you money. These are top quality items, like we have used and sold over the last fifty
years or more. I personally have used this style National 3A-B torch for nearly fifty
years.
Torch will have One of these three names on it; National,
Veriflow or Premier.
This torch is VERY comfortable in your hand.
It feels good and is ergonomically correct,
some would say.
The company has
changed names a few times due to acquisitions, but the product is still good and
feels, looks and works the same.
The tip on this used F8 torch is the F8B
or #2, which is the larger of the two, you may order a F8A or #1, which we
stock, or even the F8C which is for use with Oxygen, IF that is what you are
using. Personally, I think Oxygen provides way too hot a flame, regardless
of the gas used. I have used this torch with both Propane and Natural gas
at different times; without any problem. Price of a F8U Used "National 3A-B" is only $40.00+s/h.
