recitalist and clinician Dr. Eldred Spell, Phd.

It was later modified to the popular adjustable tool we have now. It is a clean and neat way to set open hole French flute pad retaining grommets.
This tool helps keep the grommet flat, level and evenly tensioned, when used properly. Made of Delrin so as
not to mar the key.
