Actually, there are two. The first is the Original E99 Eldred Spell 'widget'. The other is
the E99A; adjustable version of the same tool.
This useful little tool was developed over 20 years ago by popular Michigan State Alumnus,
recitalist and clinician Dr. Eldred Spell, Phd.

It is a clean and neat way to set open hole French flute pad retaining grommets.
This tool helps keep the grommet flat, level and evenly tensioned, when used properly. Made of Delrin so as
not to mar the key.

NOTE: We don't believe you really NEED
the adjustable model, as wear and previous repair work may have altered the chimney
size or the grommet may already be stretched and will therefore achieve a different
height from one chimney to another, WE trust your good sense of touch for this. Dr. Spell
concurs, "Just an unnecessary complication." But, if you want an adjustable widget, we have
one for you.
