The new Z61-18 is the answer for rolling out dents in French horn bell stems. This tool will work the area approximately from the engraving back to the pinky hook. The specially designed radius roller allows you to roll right next to the leadpipe without having to remove it. This tool will increase your productivity on this “hardest hit” area of French horn bells
You can use the rollers on the top or sides of the bell. . There are two curved rods that fit into a holder which attaches to your Z61 base.
Each rod has a different curve to fit closer to the bell flare, or deeper in and you can choose the one that will most
closely fit the particular curvature of different brands of
French horns.
There is a short extension that can be used with either rod to increase the ability to reach different areas of the bell. The rods are threaded to accept the N80 balls. These rods are held securely in the base and can be used in place of a rod in a vise to raise deep or sharp dents before rolling with the radius rollers.Z61-18 French Horn Dent Rod Kit $495.00
